Cement Plaster CP-100 (Without Lime)
Description
Stucco® CP-100 (Without Lime) is factory blended cement plaster / render for internal and external use. CP-100 (Without Lime) provides exceptional bonding and creates a base for AAC blocks. It can be applied manually or by a suitable plastering machine.

Ordinary Portland cement, processed natural mineral aggregates and special chemical additives.

Method of Application

Surface Prearation
- Surface must be free of dirt, oil, grease, scaling paint, releasing agents, curing agents, dust, loose particles, efflorescence or other foreign materials.
- Spray sufficient amount of clean potable water to neutralize the suction of the background.
- Allow free water to evaporate completely before the application of the render.
- The fixing of all attachments such as pipe, electrical fittings, corner beads etc should be carried out before commencement of rendering.
- Preparation on normal concrete surface Apply rush coat for Normal concrete Surface RC-200 on the prepared concrete surface. A rough texture has to be obtained to provide a mechanical key for the subsequent coat of CP-100 (Without Lime).
- Preparation on micro silica concrete or concrete with curing compound Apply rush coat Special for Concrete Surface RC-300 on the prepared smooth concrete, which is modified with micro silica or curing compound or any other special admixture.
- Curing Curing of rush coat with potable water is absolutely necessary, 3-4 times daily for 48 hours.
- In the event of dissimilar backgrounds At all junctions of dissimilar backgrounds, fix Expanded metal lath / fibre glass mesh (as approved by the consultant). Apply Mortar Rush coat (RC200 or RC300 based on concrete surface) on the mesh properly to cover up the mesh and after the initial setting or drying when the mortar is in green stage to apply rush coat with a thickness of 2-3mm with a Tyrolean box which will be an additional mechanical key to the subsequent coat of the plaster or a groove has to be formed at the junction while the plaster is still soft.
- Method of Application
On Concrete Surface: Apply CP100(Without Lime) on the prepared surface of concrete in 10-15mm average thickness single coat with plastering machine.
On Normal Concrete Blocks: Where ever the wall of concrete blocks comes in continuation with the AAC block wall, CP100(Without Lime) must be applied in single or double coat with an average of 15mm thickness on internal walls and 20mm average thickness in two coats on external walls.
FIRST COAT – CP100(Without Lime) to be applied with 10-12mm thickness on prepared background with plastering machine. After (48 hours)2 days curing.
SECOND COAT – CP100(Without Lime) to be applied in the desired thickness of 8-10mm.
On AAC (Internal and External walls)– lightweight blocks: CP-100 (Without Lime) has to be carried out in two coats with plastering machine. The base coat (spatter dash) of the same CP-100 (Without Lime) must be applied in a thickness of 8-10 mm to provide a surface of even suction and roughness for the adhesion of final coat. The base coat must be cured with potable water for a minimum of 48 hours with 3-4 times a day. After two days when the base coat becomes hard and dry, the final coat of CP-100 (Without Lime) must be applied to achieve a total average thickness of 15mm on interior and 20 mm on exterior walls. When applied with plastering machine the water is adjusted by the flow meter and mixing is carried out automatically. - CuringMoist curing for 3 days (3-4 times daily) is necessary due to the absorption of moisture as well as the evaporation of surface moisture.
- Precautions Newly installed plaster should be protected from hot, dry winds and excessive ventilation. Do not apply if raining. Protect from rain for 48 hrs after application. Hard or lumpy material must not be used. The plaster has to be allowed to dry out completely devoid of any moisture, before applying any kind of stucco finish, paint or wall paper.
- Storage CP-100 (Without Lime) must be protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Store off the ground in a cool and dry place.
